141 Opposition MPs To Miss Discussion On Key Bills: Read Details Here
For disrupting the proceedings the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, 49 Member of the Parliament were suspended on Tuesday, bringing the total number of expelled Opposition lawmakers to 141. All suspended MPs will miss the proceedings of the house for the entire winter session.
Lok Sabha speaker Om Birl took action against opposition MPs Supriya Sule, Manish Tewari, Shashi Tharoor, Md Faisal, Farooq Abdullah, Karti Chidambaram, Sudim Bandhopadhyay, Dimple Yadav, Danish Ali for their "unruly behaviour."

The Opposition members were demanding an explanation from the Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the Parliament's security breach happened last week.
According to the reports, the government is slated to table some key bills this session, which are now likely to be passed without a debate or discussion. The key bills are The Telecommunication Bill, 2023, The National Capital Territory of Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Second (Amendment) Bill, 2023, The Central Goods and Services Tax (Second Amendment) Bill, 2023, The Provisional Collection of Taxes Bill, 2023, The Bharatiya Nyaya (Second) Sanhita, 2023, The Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha (Second) Sanhita, 2023, and The Bharatiya Sakshya (Second) Bill, 2023 this session.
Taking on the government, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, "All democratic norms are being thrown into the dustbin by an autocratic Modi."
A day ago, registering the history, Parliament expelled 67 MPs including prominant leaders like Jairam Ramesh, Randeep Surjewala, KC Venugopal, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, DMK MPs TR Baalu and Dayanidhi Maran, and TMC's Saugata Roy.
