11 flights cancelled, two die due to Bengal fog
Siliguri, Dec 14: As many as 11 flights were cancelled on Monday due to fog-induced poor visibility in northern West Bengal's Bagdogra Airport, an airport official said.
Airport director Rakesh Ranjan Sahay said 11 out of the scheduled 12 flights which mostly operate on the Bagdogra-Delhi and Bagdogra-Kolkata routes were cancelled.

On the other hand, the dense fog led to two youths getting killed in road accident at Balaram under Bhaktinagar Police Station on the outskirts of Siliguri on Monday morning.
Police said the two died after their motor cycle collided with a pick-up van amidst foggy condition.
Police recovered the bodies and sent them to North Bengal Medical College Hospital for post mortem.
