10 pilgrims injured as bus turns turtle in UP

Bhadohi (UP), Oct 8: Ten persons, including nine women, were seriously injured when a bus carrying pilgrims overturned in Gopiganj area here.

According to police, the incident took place late last night when the bus carrying pilgrims from Amravati in Maharashtra to Varanasi overturned after hitting a divider in Jangiganj area.

A total of 30 persons, including 26 women and three men, were travelling in the bus, they said. Ten passengers, including nine women, sustained serious injuries in the incident and were admitted to community health center, police said.
