3 terrorists killed in Kupwara, J&K encounter

Three terrorists have been killed in an encounter at Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. One police personnel was injured in the incident.

The incident took place in the Kalroos area of Kupwara. The presence of the terrorists came to light when the security forces were conducting a house to house search. The militants are believed to be part of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba.

When the search operations were being conducted there was gun fire from one of the houses. This led to the encounter being launched by the security forces.
