1 killed, 2 injured in TMC faction fight

Trouble broke out at around 3pm between two factions of the TMC at Ketugram's Bansheragram over the 100 days of work under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), they said. Bombs were hurled by the two groups resulting in death of one person identified as Sunil Majhi (30) and injury to two others — Piyush Kanti Ghosh and Ratan Pyne, they said.
A team from Katwa Police Station intervened and brought the situation under control, police said. The two injured were admitted to the Katwa Mohokuma Hospital where their condition was said to be critical they added. Police picket was posted in the area.
