Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis Felicitates Amitabh Shah, Founder at YUVA Unstoppable for Remarkable Social Impact

Recognition is most meaningful when it celebrates a purpose. Yuva Unstoppable's Founder, Amitabh Shah, was honoured by Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis at an event hosted by the Himanshu Roy Foundation, in recognition of the organisation's contribution to education, healthcare, cancer care, and its continued partnership with government-led efforts to create lasting social impact.

Yuva Unstoppable ranks among India’s top 10 NGOs, with a proven track record of impacting over 10 million beneficiaries across education, environment, healthcare, and livelihood, supported by more than 100 corporate partners through CSR and philanthropic initiatives. The organisation’s interventions span 25 states and 7 union territories, covering education, employability, environment, Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), nutrition, and healthcare.

Held at the Y. B. Chavan Centre in Mumbai, the event brought together distinguished leaders, changemakers, and citizens to celebrate the legacy of the late Himanshu Roy, IPS. Through the Himanshu Roy Foundation, three awards were presented to individuals and organisations making meaningful contributions to society while carrying forward his vision of service and integrity.

Receiving this honour marks a proud milestone for YUVA Unstoppable. It reflects the unwavering dedication of the team, the trust of its partners and donors, and the resilience of the communities it serves. Every school transformed, every child empowered, every family supported through its initiatives, and every life touched has been made possible through a collective commitment to creating opportunities where they are needed most.

The occasion was made even more special with the announcement of YUVA Unstoppable’s partnership with the Himanshu Roy Foundation and the family of acclaimed author Amish Tripathi. Together, the collaboration aims to strengthen awareness and efforts around early cancer detection, an initiative with the potential to save countless lives through timely intervention and community outreach.

Speaking after receiving the recognition, Amitabh Shah, Founder of YUVA Unstoppable said: “Every recognition reminds us that our purpose is far greater than any award. As long as even one child lacks access to quality education or healthcare, our work remains unfinished. This honour strengthens our resolve to continue serving with compassion, innovation, and unwavering commitment.”

After completing his Master's degree at Yale University, Mr. Amitabh Shah, Founder of Yuva Unstoppable and a Viksit Bharat Ambassador, turned down a Wall Street offer from JP Morgan to work on the real streets of India and establish Yuva Unstoppable, one of India's top 10 NGOs. Our interventions include Education (WASH facilities, digital classrooms, solar electrification, rainwater harvesting, modern sports facilities, STEM labs, scholarships, and early childhood care); Health and Nutrition (transforming anganwadis, providing nutritional support to children and pregnant and new mothers, and vaccination drives); Employability (placement-focused skilling for youth in soft skills as well as domain-specific skills across IT/ITES, BFSI, AI, ML, and more); and Environment (agroforestry, afforestation, water body restoration, solar street lighting, urban heat stress mitigation, and carbon credits).
