Punjab Assembly election 2012 - schedule details
According to sources, the state may experience a huge change in the political scenario following the election. Led by Parkash Singh Badal, Punjab currently being ruled by the alliance of the Shiromani Akali Dal and Bharatiya Janata Party.
Meanwhile, sources said that the main opposition party - Indian National Congress may contest the poll led by former Punjab Chief Minister, Amarinder Singh.
