Karimnagar (Andhra Pradesh), April 14: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) chief K Chandasekhar Rao on Sunday hinted at his party's joining the Third Front, a report in Deccan Chronicle said on Monday.

Stressing his party's secular credentials, Rao said he was against joining the communal forces and that his MPs would join the Third Front. Rao was speaking at a rally here on Sunday evening.
Rao added that the communal forces would not gain power and that he was in talks with various national leaders like Jayalalithaa, Mamata Banerjee and Naveen Patnaik. He said all the national parties are in favour of a third alternative, the report said.

All sections should taste growth and live in harmony, he said.

Rao also took a strong dig at the Congress and BJP, saying both of them had been reduced to regional parties.

The TRS chief also promised to sanction Rs 1,000 per month as old age pension for the aged and the physically challenged.
