Telangana: Warangal Court Receives Hoax Bomb Threat Call Over Food-Related Matter
Panic gripped the Warangal court on Friday morning after an anonymous bomb threat brought judicial work to a sudden standstill. The threat came in the form of an email sent to a judge, claiming that a bomb had been planted within the court premises.
Upon receiving the alert, court operations were immediately suspended as police swung into action. Security forces, assisted by a bomb disposal unit and a canine squad, thoroughly searched the premises for any potential explosive device. The area was secured and evacuated to ensure the safety of court staff and the public.

After a detailed inspection lasting several hours, police confirmed that no bomb had been found. The threat was officially declared a hoax.
Sources said the threatening email was sent by an unidentified miscreant and investigations are now underway to trace the origin of the message. Officials have not yet confirmed the motive behind the hoax, but a case is expected to be registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Information Technology Act.
The incident caused considerable disruption in court proceedings and raised concerns about security preparedness at judicial institutions. While no one was harmed, the psychological impact on those present was significant.
Authorities have assured that additional security measures are being reviewed to prevent such incidents in the future. They have also urged the public to stay calm but alert, and to report any suspicious communication or activity to the police immediately.
As investigations continue, the incident stands as a stark reminder of the serious consequences of spreading false alarms, especially in sensitive public spaces like courts.
