Telangana School Uniform Changed! Check Big Announcement For Students

Telangana School Uniform Changed! The School Education Department in Hyderabad has decided to change the uniform design for boys in Classes VI and VII. Instead of short pants, these students will now wear full pants. This update is part of the revised uniform guidelines for the academic year 2025-26.

Previously, the department had recommended shirts and short pants for boys from Classes I to VII. However, this new decision will affect 92,448 boys each in Class VI and Class VII attending government schools under the department's jurisdiction.

Uniform Update for Boys

School Education Director EV Narasimha Reddy communicated this change through a letter to the Telangana Handlooms and Weavers Cooperative Society Limited (THWCSL), which supplies uniform cloth. The letter specified that full pants should be provided instead of short pants for these classes.

Additionally, all self-help groups involved in stitching uniforms have been instructed to make full pants for Class VI and VII boys. These specifications align with those already set for students in Classes VIII to XII.

This decision reflects a shift towards a more consistent uniform policy across different class levels. It aims to ensure that older students have attire similar to their senior counterparts, promoting uniformity within schools.
