Telangana CCTV Captures Shocking Daylight Murder as Bystanders Watch

Security camera footage from Telangana has captured a public murder where people watched but did nothing. A 50-year-old real estate businessman was chased and killed on a busy road outside a school in Medchal-Malkajgiri district on the morning of the incident.

The video from the CCTV camera shows several vehicles moving past the attack site. A few pedestrians are also seen nearby. However, nobody stepped forward to stop the assault or assist the injured man as the stabbing continued in front of the school gate.

Police identified the victim as Ghanta Venkataratnam, a real estate businessman from Medchal-Malkajgiri. Venkataratnam had gone to Foster Billabong School to drop off a child and was riding back home on a scooter when the group of attackers intercepted and surrounded Venkataratnam outside the campus.

According to investigators, two assailants arrived on a motorcycle and four came in an autorickshaw. The group blocked Venkataratnam near the school entrance and then attacked using knives. The CCTV recording shows repeated blows as Venkataratnam tried to move but collapsed on the road.

The visuals reveal stabs to Venkataratnam’s stomach, back and neck, delivered with great force. Police said Venkataratnam died at the scene before any medical help could reach. Officers recovered a knife from the road, which is expected to provide forensic leads in the case.

Officers are analysing the CCTV footage frame by frame to track the six unidentified men and their escape route. The bystander response shown in the video, with onlookers choosing not to intervene or call for help, has raised concern about public safety and responsibility in Medchal-Malkajgiri.
