TDP downplays 'corruption' booklet by Jagan-led YSR Congress
Vijayawada, Apr 27: The Telugu Desam Party made light of the 'Emperor of Corruption' booklet brought out by opposition YSR Congress, saying it is nothing but a compiled translated version of the "false and baseless" news stories published in a Telugu newspaper and television channel of YSRC chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
"Looks like Jagan's mind has gone blank with the exit of 13 of his MLAs. He failed miserably as opposition leader and he has brought out the booklet only to divert people's attention from his failures," AP Finance Minister and TDP politburo member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said.

He said it is "ridiculous that a person who is the prime accused in at least 12 cases of corruption and facing criminal trial is making wild allegations against the Chief Minister. He is only damaging the image of AP in New Delhi".
"For the son of 'Raja (king) of Corruption', everyone appears to be corrupt. When he made these allegations in the Assembly, we challenged him to prove them on the floor of the House but he ran away," the Minister added.
"We read in 'puranas' (epics) that demons used to create hurdles for 'yagnas' performed by God's.
Jagan is acting in the same manner and trying to scuttle the development of Andhra Pradesh," he said, adding that the YSRC lacks credibility and the party wouldn't survive till 2019.
