The announcement is expected to benefit thousands of pilgrims heading for Srivari darshan, especially passengers from districts across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.

Jalna-Tirupati Special Train Schedule Announced

According to railway officials, the new Jalna-Tirupati special train will operate on June 4, 11, 18 and 25. The train will depart from Jalna railway station at 12.50 pm and reach Tirupati the following day at around 12.30 pm.

During its journey, the train will pass through several important stations including Korutla, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jammikunta and Warangal before heading towards Vijayawada and Renigunta en route to Tirupati.

As per the official timings, the train is scheduled to reach Korutla at 7.58 pm, Jagtial at 8.23 pm and Karimnagar at 9.28 pm. It will later arrive at Peddapalli at 10 pm, Jammikunta at 10.49 pm and Warangal at 11.48 pm before continuing overnight towards Tirupati.

Railway authorities said the additional service has been introduced after witnessing heavy demand from pilgrims travelling to Tirumala during the ongoing holiday season.

Return Services From Tirupati To Jalna

The return Tirupati-Jalna special train will operate on June 5, 12, 19 and 26.

The train will leave Tirupati at 7.45 pm and travel via Renigunta and Vijayawada before entering Telangana the next morning. It is expected to reach Jammikunta at 7.58 am and Peddapalli at 8.50 am.

After crossing Karimnagar, Jagtial and Korutla, the train will continue towards Nizamabad and Basara before finally arriving in Jalna at 8.45 pm.

Railway officials believe the service will offer easier travel options for passengers from the joint Karimnagar district and nearby regions who regularly travel to Tirupati for pilgrimage.

Tirupati-Raxaul Train To Become Permanent Service

In another major development for passengers, railway authorities also confirmed that the Tirupati-Raxaul special train operating through Secunderabad will become a regular service from June 1.

Officials said the train departing from Tirupati will leave at 8.15 am and reach Peddapalli after midnight before continuing towards Raxaul. On the return journey, the train from Raxaul will depart early in the morning and reach Tirupati the next day.

For travellers from the joint Karimnagar district, Peddapalli will continue to serve as the primary boarding point on this route.

Passengers Advised To Book Early

Railway officials expect reservation demand to remain extremely high because of summer holidays and the continuing Tirumala pilgrimage rush.

Passengers planning Tirupati darshan have been advised to complete bookings in advance through the official IRCTC website to avoid last-minute ticket shortages.
