Ramoji Rao, Telugu Media Baron & Founder Of Hyderabad's Ramoji Rao Film City, Passes Away

Telugu Media Baron and founder of Film City in Hyderabad, Ramoji Rao is no more. He was 88 years old. According to the reports, Ramoji Rao took his last breath at around 4:50 am on Saturday. He died following a prolonged illness. The reports said earlier this week his condition started deteriorating and he was on ventilator support at Nanakramguda's Star Hospital.

He experienced difficulties in breathing, after which, doctors implanted a stent. However, it was not enough as Ramoji Rao was facing other health problems too.

Ramoji Rao was a famous personality of Telangana. He was a media mogul and managed businesses like Margadarsi Chit Funds, Priya Foods, and Eenadu Group. He was the founder of Ramoji Roa Film City and used to overlook it also.

Expressing grief over his death, people shared condolence messages on social media platforms.

Telangana BJP chief G Krishna Reddy said, "I am deeply saddened to know that Mr. Ramoji Rao, who was a pioneer of media and pioneered many reforms and values ​​in the field of information, is no more. Working with commitment, discipline, and perseverance.. Ramoji Rao's demise is a huge loss to the Telugu media sector, TV industry and Telugu states."

"Praying to God for the peace of Ramoji Rao's soul, I offer my deepest condolences to his family members," he added.
