Ram Gopal Varma To Appear Before Cops For Allegedly Sharing Objectionable Posts On CBN, Pawan Kalyan
Noted filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has been summoned by the Andhra Pradesh Police to question him over sharing morphed pictures of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on social media.
A notice has been served at his Jubilee Hills residence in Hyderabad on Wednesday by a Prakasam district police team. It was delivered around 10 am and has been asked to appear before the cops on November 19, according to a report in PTI.

"We served the notices to (Varma) to appear before the investigation officer...," the news agency quoted Prakasam district superintendent of police AR Damodar as saying.
An FIR has been lodged against Varma in connection with the case after a one Ramalingam (45) from Maddipadu filed a complaint under various sections. However, the director has agreed to appear before the cops, the report added.
According to the complainant, the social media posts undermined the standing of the CM, Deputy CM and their family members in the society.
