A Father's Update: Glimmers of Hope

The injured child, Sritej, has been taken off oxygen and ventilator support and is showing gradual improvement, according to his father, Bhaskar. Speaking to the media from the hospital on Tuesday, Bhaskar expressed cautious optimism, stating, "The child responded after 20 days... he is responding today."

Doctors confirmed that while Sritej's vital parameters are stable, he is yet to fully regain consciousness or recognize his family. He responds to verbal stimuli and is tolerating tube feeding well, but the road to recovery remains long.

Allu Arjun Extends Support

Amid the tragedy, Bhaskar acknowledged the financial and emotional support extended by Pushpa star Allu Arjun. The actor provided ₹10 lakh to the family and ensured assistance from his team from the second day of the incident. The film's production house and Telangana Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy also stepped in to help.

When asked about his willingness to withdraw the complaint filed after the incident, Bhaskar clarified that it was not due to pressure but because of the genuine support he received from Allu Arjun's team.

Dil Raju Promises Industry Help

Leading film producer and Film Development Corporation chairman Dil Raju pledged further assistance, including offering Bhaskar a job in the film industry. "Our immediate priority is the boy's recovery, but we will ensure long-term support for the family," Raju said.

Dil Raju also hinted at meeting Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy with a delegation from the film industry to secure government support for those affected by the tragedy.

Allu Arjun Summoned and Controversy Ignites

Allu Arjun, who was named accused number 11 in the police case, was questioned for three hours on December 13 and later granted interim bail. While the actor has maintained his innocence, the incident has become a political flashpoint. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy criticized the event's organizers, claiming the tragedy could have been avoided.

In response, Allu Arjun defended his actions in a press conference, stating he had adhered to all safety protocols and termed the allegations defamatory.

A Tragedy That Shook the Industry

The Pushpa 2 stampede has not only left a family grieving but has also highlighted the need for stricter safety measures during public events. As fans rally around the grieving family, the industry's efforts to provide support signal hope amidst the chaos.

For now, the focus remains on Sritej's recovery as his story becomes a poignant reminder of the importance of safety and compassion in times of tragedy.
