KTR Accuses Congress And BJP Of Failing Telangana With False Promises
On Sunday, BRS working president KT Rama Rao denounced the Congress and BJP as Telangana's foes. He charged that the two national parties were not fulfilling their lofty pledges to advance the state. KTR cited the Congress party's commitment to carry out all of its promises within 100 days of taking office, pointing out that many of those promises had not been met even after 15 months in office. He asked mockingly, "Is Congress waiting for February 31 to fulfill all its promises, as this date will never come?"
Speaking at Telangana Bhavan, where a number of leaders from different political parties in the Rajendranagar assembly constituency joined the BRS, KTR accused the BJP of doing nothing for the state other than engaging in politics that polarize people based on their religion. He claimed that the eight Telangana-based BJP MPs have mostly disseminated divisive sentiments. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed in his leadership role if BJP leaders say Hindus are in danger," he said.

KTR urged supporters and party members to take part fully in the party's silver anniversary festivities, which are set for April 27 in Warangal. Additionally, he called on leaders in the Chevella and Rajendranagar constituencies to start getting ready for the next round of by-elections.
He praised the work done by former chief ministers N Chandrababu Naidu and YS Rajasekhara Reddy when Andhra Pradesh was still a single entity. He did, however, accuse A Revanth Reddy, the current chief minister, of undoing the gains made during the previous BRS government. KTR stressed that the BRS, led by K Chandrasekhar Rao, must regain power, describing it as a "historic necessity."
BRS MLC K Kavitha, meantime, chastised the state government for its negligence on crop damage brought on by recent unseasonable rains, gales, and thunderstorms while she was in Khammam. Despite having two cabinet ministers and a deputy chief minister, she noted that none of them had convened a review meeting on the matter. Additionally, she pointed out that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had not yet responded to the chargesheets filed by the Enforcement Directorate against Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi.
