Congress seeking BJP's help to clear Telangana Bill?

Senior leaders of the Congress Ahmed Patel and Digvijay Singh, who is in charge of Andhra Pradesh, met former BJP chief Venkaiah Naidu to get the latter's support for the bill, reports said on Saturday.
The bill has not made any provision to grant Union Territory status to Hyderabad despite quest made by Union ministr Pallam Raju. The city will remain a joint capital for 10 years.
The Congress-led UPA government is desperate to pass the bill in the ongoing session of the Parliament, the last of the 15th Lok Sabha.
The Congress leadership was reportedly considering to take action against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy who has opposed the bifurcation of the southern state.
