Hyderabad: Two Killed in Vanasthalipuram Road Accident
Hyderabad: Two people lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Vanasthalipuram on Wednesday, February 26. The victims, identified as Syed Ismail (48) from Musheerabad and Syed Ghouse (40) from Hafeezpet, were traveling in an autorickshaw when an unidentified vehicle hit them from behind.
According to Vanasthalipuram Inspector Srinivas Rao, the accident occurred near Sushma Theater Road in the evening. The impact threw Ismail and Ghouse out of the autorickshaw, causing severe injuries. They were rushed to Osmania General Hospital but succumbed to their injuries during treatment.
The victims, along with two others-Sayeed and Suleman-had gone to the Hayathnagar wholesale fruit market and were returning when the accident took place. The unidentified vehicle's driver fled the scene, and police are now actively searching for the culprit.
A case has been registered under Section 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for causing death due to negligence, and an investigation is underway. Police teams are working to trace the unknown vehicle responsible for the mishap.
