Hyderabad's Mangala Gowri Mall Fire Disrupts Traffic On Road No 36 In Jubilee Hills

A major fire broke out at Mangala Gowri Shopping Mall in the Jubilee Hills area on Thursday, February 26, 2026, sending thick plumes of smoke into the surrounding neighbourhood and disrupting vehicular movement along the busy Road Number 36.

According to initial reports, the blaze started in the lower levels of the shopping complex and quickly spread to higher floors. Several retail outlets inside the mall, particularly clothing stores that stocked flammable materials, were affected as flames engulfed the premises, raising concerns over substantial financial losses for shop owners and the property management.

Suspected Electrical Short Circuit
