From Mahabubabad to Indravelli: Seethakka Leads Inclusive Development Drive Across Telangana
In a dynamic display of grassroots leadership, Telangana's Minister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, and Women & Child Welfare, D. Anasuya Seethakka, has led a month brimming with impactful initiatives and development milestones-reflecting the Congress government's commitment to inclusive governance under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's visionary leadership.
From laying foundations for educational institutions to launching welfare schemes and women's empowerment programs, Seethakka's efforts have become a key pillar of the Revanth Reddy-led administration's broader push for equitable growth and people-centric policies across Telangana.

Empowering Women and Children
Seethakka chaired key reviews for the 2025-26 Women and Child Welfare Action Plan held at the Mission Bhagiratha office. The minister called for coordinated efforts to enhance service delivery. She also inaugurated the Mahila Shakti Canteen in Mahabubabad, aimed at promoting self-employment and financial independence among women.
During her visit to Shilparamam with Bharat Summit delegates, Seethakka toured the Mahila Shakti Policy exhibition, interacted with self-help groups, and underscored the importance of education for girls.
The minister released a book titled Gram Panchayat Palana by K.V. Rao, which explores the evolution and current framework of Panchayati Raj institutions.
Strengthening Education
As part of rural development efforts, Seethakka laid the foundation for a new Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya school building in Eturunagaram at a cost of ₹3.25 crore. In Adilabad, she inaugurated an innovation center for girls' education and distributed supplies to schools with support from corporate CSR initiatives.
She also announced new employment schemes under the Employment Guarantee Programme worth ₹2,708.3 crore. Planned projects include plantation drives, fruit orchards, water resource management, and sanitation work.
Cultural & Religious Engagement
In Mulugu, the minister supervised preparations for the Medaram Jatara and Brahmotsavam celebrations at the Hemachala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. She also performed Bhoomi Puja for housing under the Indiramma Indlu scheme and distributed fine rice to low-income families.
Youth and Employment Focus
Seethakka flagged off the "Run for Action - 2025" campaign on International Women's Day, promoting women's safety and equality. At a job mela in Warangal, she emphasized the government's focus on employment generation.
As part of tribal outreach programs, the minister visited Indravelli, distributed financial aid to women's self-help groups and martyr families, and inaugurated a procurement center for farmers. She also participated in the Bhu Bharati awareness program to address land ownership issues among farmers.
In Saidabad, she opened a counseling and de-addiction centre under the Mission Parivartan campaign, and later took part in the Dalit Progressive Conclave to reiterate the government's commitment to social equity.
Public-Private Development Partnerships
Minister Seethakka facilitated the adoption of villages like Kondaparthi, Jagannapeta, and Inchencherupalle through government-corporate partnerships with entities like OpenText and Nirmaan NGO-aiming for integrated development in education, livelihoods, and infrastructure.
