Caught On Cam: Man Tries To Kill Andhra Woman To Steal Gold Chain

A disturbing video of a man trying to strangle an elderly woman to death has surfaced online. The incident occurred in Anakapalle in Andhra Pradesh.

As per a report in India Today, the man is a cable technician identified as Govind who tried to steal the elderly woman's gold chain. He is a frequent visitor to the house.

In the viral video, he is seen trying to wrap a towel around her neck in an attempt to kill her.

The incident occurred in Gavarapalem area on January 26 around 7.30 pm. His heinous act was caught on the CCTV footage.

A legal case was registered under sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 394 (voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). However, the accused is absconding as the cops try to nab him.
