Andhra Pradesh government wants journalists as publicists
A special team comprising 25 journalists will carry out publicity works for Andhra Pradesh government
Hyderabad, Dec 12: Chandrababu Naidu government is now eyeing journalists to act as public relations officers for it. Andhra Pradesh government has passed an order asking for a special team comprising 25 journalists to carry out publicity works.
According to the order copy, that is in possession of OneIndia, permission has been granted to the Commissioner of information and public relations, Andhra Pradesh, to establish a special team on outsourcing basis.

The 25 journalists 'will carry out publicity and other works as Back Office of Hon'ble Chief Minister's office,' according to the order.
The order copy also allots Rs 51,468 as salary for each member of this special monitoring team. A team will cost the government a total of Rs 12,86,700 on a monthly basis.
The order also states that it has been passed in the name of the Andhra Pradesh government.
