Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections 2024: TDP Denies Viral Candidate List, Accuses Jagan Reddy Of Dirty Politics

Political heat is rising in Andhra Pradesh as the ruling YSRCP and the opposition TDP-Jana Sena alliance gear up for the upcoming Assembly elections.

Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections 2024: TDP Denies Viral Candidate List, Accuses Jagan Reddy Of Dirty Politics

With the three parties in the fray, the question of who will get the ticket has become a matter of interest. In this context, a list of TDP candidates is going viral on social media, creating confusion among TDP leaders and cadre.

Responding to this, TDP national spokesperson Prof. Jyothsna lambasted Jagan Mohan Reddy after a fake list of TDP candidates for the assembly elections was made available on social media. She clarified that no official candidate list has been announced by the TDP yet and that once the list is finalised, it will be shared at the right time.

Hitting back at the incumbent ruling party, Prof. Jyothsna said, "This is just another futile attempt by Jagan Reddy and company to deflect from the defeat that is awaiting them in the upcoming days." She stated that Jagan and YSRCP are once again busy spreading false propaganda, which not only shows their fear but also their misplaced priorities ahead of the elections.

The upcoming Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh are expected to be a close contest between the YSRCP and the TDP-Jana Sena alliance. The BJP's decision to join the alliance could further complicate the equation.

The YSRCP is banking on its welfare schemes and the popularity of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy to win the elections. The TDP-Jana Sena alliance is hoping to capitalize on the anti-incumbency factor and the perceived failures of the YSRCP government. The outcome of the elections will have a significant impact on the future of Andhra Pradesh.
