Allu Arjun Stampede Case: Harish Rao Slams Revanth Reddy for Ignoring Telangana's Urgent Issues
In the wake of actor Allu Arjun's involvement in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case, BRS MLA Harish Rao has slammed Congress leader Revanth Reddy for focusing on the actor instead of addressing more significant issues facing Telangana.
According to Rao, there are numerous pressing matters such as the challenges faced by farmers and minorities in the state, as reported by Hindustan Times.

However, he pointed out that Revanth has been preoccupied with personally targeting Allu Arjun rather than tackling these vital concerns. Rao further criticized Congress, claiming that if elections were held today, their candidates would struggle to secure even their poll deposits. He accused the party of failing to fulfill its promises made during the election campaign, suggesting that the focus on trivial issues like the stampede investigation detracts from more critical state matters.
BJP Leader Downplays Allu Arjun's Involvement in Stampede Case
In response to the investigation into the Sandhya Theatre stampede, BJP leader Raghunandan Rao described the case as a "small issue," comparing it to other minor incidents in the state. He questioned the involvement of both the actor and the police, asking why the focus wasn't on the theatre authorities or the law enforcement's role in preventing the chaos, as reported by Hindustan Times.
Raghunandan Rao urged the police to refrain from taking harsh action, emphasizing that the court had already granted 30 days of bail to the accused. He appealed for a fair and balanced investigation, suggesting that the authorities should avoid any actions that might be seen as vengeful, as reported by Hindustan Times.
His comments reflect a belief that the situation should be handled with measured restraint, rather than turning it into a larger public spectacle. As the investigation into the stampede continues, both political and public opinions remain divided over the handling of the case, with calls for greater focus on systemic issues over individual involvement.
Allu Arjun Appears Before Police in Sandhya Theatre Stampede Case
Hyderabad: Actor Allu Arjun appeared before the Chikkadpally police on Tuesday for questioning in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. The incident, which occurred during the screening of Pushpa-2, resulted in the death of a 35-year-old woman and left her child hospitalized. The actor, summoned by the police, arrived at the station at 11 am amidst heightened security at his residence. He assured his full cooperation with the investigation.
The tragedy, which took place on December 4, has prompted an inquiry into overcrowding and crowd management failures. The police have registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management based on a complaint by the woman's family. The investigation is ongoing, with Allu Arjun's statement playing a key role in determining the cause of the stampede.
