Allu Arjun Charged After Fatal Stampede At 'Pushpa 2' Premiere In Hyderabad
Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, along with the management of Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre, is set to face charges following a tragic stampede during the premiere of his much-awaited movie, Pushpa 2: The Rule.
The incident, which occurred on Wednesday night, left a 35-year-old woman dead and her nine-year-old son hospitalized due to asphyxiation, as reported by NDTV.

Lack of Coordination Blamed for Tragedy
Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand confirmed that neither the theatre management nor Allu Arjun's team provided prior notice about his arrival for the screening. This lack of coordination led to chaos when hundreds of fans thronged the venue to catch a glimpse of the actor.
"There was no separate entry or exit for the actor and his team, even though the management was aware of their arrival," said Anand, as reported by NDTV.
Tragic Turn of Events
Allu Arjun, accompanied by music director Devi Sri Prasad, reached the theatre at approximately 9:30 PM. The situation spiralled out of control when his personal security attempted to manage the overwhelming crowd. In the resulting chaos, Revathi, a 35-year-old woman, and her son Teja were pulled out by police personnel after being asphyxiated in the crowd.
Despite immediate CPR and hospitalization, Revathi was declared dead, while her son remains in critical condition. The family, residing in Dilsukhnagar, has demanded accountability from both the actor and the theatre management.
Legal Action Initiated
Police have filed a case under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita based on the complaint lodged by Revathi's family. Authorities have assured "stringent action as per law" against all responsible parties, including Allu Arjun and the theatre management, for the lack of security arrangements that led to the tragedy.
Actor and Production House Respond
While Allu Arjun has not yet commented on the incident, the production house, Mythri Movie Makers, expressed their sorrow on social media platform X, stating:
"We are committed to standing by them and extending all possible support during this difficult time."
Family Demands Justice and Support
The grieving family has called on Allu Arjun to take responsibility and provide support in the wake of the incident. They also urged theatre owners to improve safety measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.
Fans Express Shock
The tragic event has sent shockwaves through Allu Arjun's massive fanbase, as the highly anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule was expected to be a celebratory event. Instead, the incident has raised questions about crowd management and celebrity accountability at high-profile events.
As investigations continue, fans and the public await further developments on how the involved parties will address the aftermath of this devastating incident.
