Allu Arjun Calls Himself 'Law-Abiding Citizen' After Stepping Out of Jail, Apologises for Stampede Incident
Telugu superstar Allu Arjun expressed his respect for the law and assured full cooperation with authorities following his release from jail on Saturday in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case.
Addressing the media and his fans outside his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, after spending a night in custody, the actor said, "There is nothing to worry about. I am fine. I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate."

The 41-year-old actor extended his gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support during what he described as a challenging period for him and his family. Acknowledging the tragic incident, in which a woman lost her life, Allu Arjun expressed his regret, calling it an "unintentional accident."
"I would like to once again express my condolences to the family. It was an unfortunate incident. We are sorry for what happened," he stated.
The incident occurred on December 4 at Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. A stampede-like situation unfolded as thousands of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor, resulting in the death of a 35-year-old woman and the hospitalisation of her eight-year-old son.
Following a complaint by the deceased woman's family, Hyderabad Police registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management. The actor was arrested on Friday morning and remanded to 14 days in judicial custody by a lower court.
However, Allu Arjun secured interim bail from the Telangana High Court, which observed that, despite being a public figure, he had the fundamental "right to life and liberty as a citizen."
Due to delays in receiving the bail order, the actor was not released on Friday and had to spend the night in jail.
