Accident Caught On Cam: Speeding BMW Car Rams Scooter In Hyderabad

A man was seriously injured after a speeding BMW car hit an employee of a Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Thursday.

The victim has been identified as Bala Chander Yadav's whose two-wheeler was rammed by the speeding car in Banjara Hills police station limits.

The CCTV footage of the accident has been shared by ANI on Twitter. The visuals show the BMW car (TS09EJ5688) ramming the two-wheeler before fleeing the spot.

The car has been identified and the accused is yet to be caught. The police suspect that the driver might have been riding the car under the influence of alcohol.

This comes days after a woman and her daughter, who were on a morning walk, were killed and another woman was injured when a "speeding" car hit them from behind in Hyderabad.

The incident which happened on a main road under Narsingi police station limits was caught on CCTV cameras.

The trio was walking when a speeding car hit them resulting in the spot death of two - a woman and her daughter and injury to another woman, a police official of Narsingi police station said.

A user has posted a complied tweet which has videos of recent accidents in Hyderabad. The person has pointed out that all the accidents have happened due to overspeeding.
