57 Stories Above, South India's Tallest Skyscraper Takes Shape In Hyderabad

A Hyderabad-based company, SAS Infra, has commenced the construction of SAS Crown, South India's tallest skyscraper, in Kokapet. The 57-storey building will soar to a height of 235 meters and is slated for completion by March 2027.

Spanning 4.5 acres, the project encompasses 250 units spread across five towers. Upon completion, SAS Crown will not only dominate Hyderabad's skyline but also claim the title of the tallest skyscraper in South India, surpassing Bengaluru's current record holder, a 50-storey building.

Media reports indicate that Hyderabad is poised to become India's second city with the highest number of skyscrapers by 2030, following Mumbai.

SAS Crown, standing at approximately 768 feet tall, will offer sky villas with breathtaking 360-degree views of the cityscape, thanks to its meticulously designed 12-foot windows. However, its reign as South India's tallest building may be short-lived, as reports suggest the completion of Candeur Skyline, a 59-story building in Puppalaguda, by 2029.

Hyderabad's skyline is undergoing a dramatic transformation, with several ambitious projects underway. The city's rich Nizami heritage, coupled with its status as a technological hub, underscores its dynamic growth and development.
