Rahul in Assam: You don't learn from success, you learn from failure

Guwahati, Feb 26: Taking his interaction to the students of Northeast, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today interacted with students here.

"I see each one of you have a lot of will and will have immense potential. Compared to other countries, India is doing pretty well. We are the second fastest growing economy in the world," he told the students.

Addressing the students, Rahul said that 'you don't learn from success, you learn from failure.' "We need to promote entrepreneurship. We have to enable people lije you to do something," he said. Speaking about Nido Taniam's death, Rahul said that Nido went to Delhi with aspirations, a dream but somebody who was ignorant caused the violence.

Rahul: When politicians speak with hatred, it is going to hurt you

Hitting out at the Opposition, he said: "Opposition believes in handing power to one man, and makes him crush everyone else. When politicians speak with hatred, it is going to hurt you," he said.

Expressing his concern for the women in the country he said that 'we cannot be a superpower if the women don't feel safe in our country.' "Women are suffering everyday, rape is an extreme manifestation," he said.

Urging the students to participate in politics, Rahul said: "I want all of you to become MPs, MLAs, ministers and chief ministers."
