Highlights: Rahul Gandhi in an aggressive mode in Assam

He said: "I don't want to take power away from you. I want to take Assam forward with this power. Netas don't change the world, the janta does."
Praising the people of Assam, Rahul said that the people of Assam were more aware of the things than him. "Women who sit here know more than anyone else about whats good for their homes, their villages."
Launching an attacking on Narendra Modi, Rahul said that those who claim to do things in 60 months are making fun of the people of Assam. "It is laughable when they say they will do in 60 months, what you did in 60 years. They are making fun of people because for 60 years people of this country have worked hard," he said.
He also said that the opposition opposed when the Food Security Bill was passed. "We have fought for the tribals, we have fought for the rights of the farmers," he said.
