Born on 20 Oct 1969 in Tangardih, Dist Gumla (Jharkhand), he completed his education at Kartik Oraon College,Gumla,University of Ranchi,Jharkhand. He is married to Smt Krishna Toppo and has 2 sons.
Political Career
Bhagat started his career as a Vidyarthi Parishad leader in undivided Bihar in the early 1990s. He had joined ABVP in student life as State Joint Secretary, Bihar, which was Affiliated to RSS, Vanvasi Kalyan Kendra and participated in several social activities. He joined politics actively in 1995
