Sheena murder case: Indrani's second husband Sanjeev Khanna is a nefarious link

Many wonder why and how Sanjeev Khanna is linked to Sheena's murder. What business did he have in murdering Sheena when he was not related to her at all, except for the fact that he was the second husband of her mother.

A Kolkata-based small time businessman, Khanna is alleged to be a co-conspirator in the murder case.

Despite insisting that he was fast asleep in the car when the murder was executed, police has strong reasons not to believe him.
Although Sheena and Khanna had a bitter marriage-especially over Vidhie's custody-they are said to have forgotten their differences as Indrani was still helping Khanna with his business.

In fact, unconfirmed sources have told a leading newspaper that Khanna received a substantial amount of money after the murder.

But did he have any interest in the property that Sheena aimed to inherit, is yet not clear. However, we cannot negate the fact that Vidhie (Khanna's and Indrani's daughter) was in the her custody and has been legally adopted by Peter Mukerjea.
