The shy and hardworking teenager was happy that the district administration felt that she was worthy of the post. "It's a matter of great pride for my family and me that I have been made the district collector for a day. I always wanted to become an IAS officer and serve people. I will work more hard to fulfil my dreams," said Vandana.
Talking about her experience of getting a glimpse of bureaucracy, Vandana said that it is a big responsibility and IAS officers are nothing less than heroes themselves. "Most of them work in difficult terrains without facilities to help poor and needy. I too want to work for the disadvantaged section of society," smiled the youngster.
Her teacher say Vandana, the topper, is always a hardworking student and they are confident that she would become an IAS officer in the future.
