Nitish resignation drama: Leader may reconsider decision; how politicians react
"Haven't accepted Nitish's resignation. Without him, the state won't progress," JD(U) leader Sanjay Singh said soon after the party meet at Nitish Kumar's residence. A meeting will be conducted tomorrow again to take a final decision over the issue. JD(U) leader Neeraj Kumar said, "We want Nitish Kumar to continue as the CM, he has worked in Bihar," JD(U) leader Neeraj Kumar said.
Moreover, protests were staged by JD(U) party workers, accusing Sharad Yadav for being the reason behind Kumar's resignation.
Meanwhile, political parties have strongly criticized Nitish for shirking his role as the leader of the party. Some have even gone to the extent of calling the entire issue a 'drama'.
