Light shower bring relief to Delhiites: In pictures

Delhiites got a major relief from the hot and humid weather on Wednesday after light shower brought down the temperature to around 25 degree celsius. The MeT department have predicted that the weather will remain pleasant for next couple of days as monsoon is expected to hit the national capital in a day or two.

Earlier, the weather department had forecasted that the monsoon will hit Delhi by June 29. Monsoon is expected to be weak this year which may create drought like situation, effecting agricultural production and hydro power generation.

Meanwhile, even after being delay for over three weeks, torrential rain battered the financial capital and large parts of coastal Maharashtra on Wednesday, providing relief to the people from the scorching spell.
