Kohinoor: All you need to know about the legendary diamond

New Delhi, Apr 18: The Union ministry of culture on Monday informed Supreme Court that the legendary Kohinoor diamond was neither stolen nor forcibly taken away by British.

It was in fact gifted by Maharaja Ranjit Singh to the East India Company. Earlier, India has been demanding its Kohinoor back from the British Empire for past many years.
