Know constituencies of UP Assembly polls 2017: Itwa (General)

First election in Itwa assembly constituency was held in 1974 and Gopinath Kameshwar Puri of BJS became first MLA of the constituency.

Mata Prasad Pandey won Itwa constituency for the six consecutive term from Samajwadi Party, Janata Dal, Janata Party (Secular) and Lok Dal.
