Indians took to Twitter in thousands in support of the Indian Army on Tuesday, the 19th of July. Thousands of tweets saluting the Indian Army got the hashtag #SaluteToIndiaArmy and #NationSalutesArmy trend.
India showed solidarity with its army as Pakistan marked Tuesday as the "Black Day" over the killing of Burhan Wani, the self-styled leader of Hizbul Mujahideen, by the Indian Army in an encounter on the 8th of July 2016 in Kashmir.
Citizens from across India took to Twitter and in their own words expressed gratitude towards the unsung heroes of the Indian Army. Indians recollected the instances when the army had come to the rescue of the civilians during the times of natural calamities and other dangers.
