In this hilarious new video, Pakistani reporter Chand Nawab once again ‘rocks’ and we love it
Citizens of India and Pakistan share a lot of similarities. One is their eternal obsession for Pakistan-based reporter Chand Nawab.
New Delhi, June 30: The Indian and Pakistani governments don't agree with each other on almost anything and everything. But citizens in both the neighbouring countries share a lot of similarities. One is their eternal obsession for Pakistan-based reporter Chand Nawab.
Yes, Chand is the same journalist who is the inspiration behind the popular character of a television reporter in the blockbuster Bollywood film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, aptly played by actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Chand is such an obsession in both the countries, especially among social media junkies, that every now and then a new video featuring the reporter goes viral. Chand is back with a bang again in a new hit video clip, where he is once again fumbling to get his lines correct, and netizens are in love with every bit of it.
After Karachi-based journalist and poet Fazil Jamili tweeted this new video of Chand, it simply "rocked" the virtual world. In this viral video, Chand, in his own inimitable style, is seen reporting from a Karachi paan shop and talking about its specialty.
In the video clip, he repeats the line "paan humari sakhafat hai" several times but Chand fails to get it correct every time. In between, he ends up eating several paans too.
There is a childlike innocence about Chand and the way he looks at the camera and holds his mike make him an internet "darling". Social media users--most of whom are notorious for poking fun at others for the slightest of mistakes--actually love Chand for his "cuteness" and "innocence".
That is why perhaps Indians and Pakistanis don't fight ugly Twitter wars over Chand and rather share his videos millions of times. Here we send our love and hugs to the reporter from across the border.
