Bangalore, Dec 7: As the nation waits with bated breath for the result of the Assembly polls on December 8, Christmas fever has already stepped in. In the US the 2013 National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony was held at the Ellipse in Washington, where President Barack Obama was seen with his family.
Meanwhile, in London the Dutchess of Cambridge toured the facilities at the Shooting Star House Children's hospice, where she viewed a music session and played with a frog hand puppet and a rattle, met with volunteers and had tea with some of the children and their families.
