Bangalore, Aug 18: Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan addressed a rally in Islamabad on Sunday and called upon protesters at an anti-government rally to practice civil disobedience.
Khan, who heads Parliament's third largest political bloc, made the announcement at the rally in the capital calling for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to step down over alleged voting fraud.
Meanwhile, Pope Francis wrapped up his Asia tour as he returned to the Vatican on Monday. Francis' diplomatic outreach on Sunday followed another gesture of solidarity earlier in the morning where he baptized the father of one of the victims of the sinking of a South Korean ferry that killed more than 300 people, most of them high school students.
