In his maiden visit to the republic of Turkmenistan Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that connectivity is a key aspect of the relationship between India and the Central Asian nation.

Apart from expressing gratitude to Turkmenistan for its support to India joining the Ashgabat agreement on trade and transit Modi also signed several key agreements with President urbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Upon his arrival to Turkmenistan's capital Ashgabat PM Modi was given a warm reception. The Indian PM also visited several places in the Turkmenian capital.
