In Pics: Moments of Day 16 at FIFA World Cup
Bangalore, June 27: Cristiano Ronaldo's first goal of the World Cup earned Portugal a 2-1 win over Ghana at the Estádio Nacional Mané Garrincha but couldn't prevent his team being eliminated from the tournament along with the Africans on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Belgium defeated South Korea 1-0 on Thursday that gave them top place in their World Cup group and ended Asian hopes in the competition.
On the other hand, the match between Algeria and Russia ended in a draw as the score remained 1-1.
