Gujarat elections: Dhanjibhai Patel - BJP candidate from Wadhwan constituency
Dhanjibhai Patel is the BJP candidate for the Wadhwan assembly seat. Dhanjibhai Patel is contesting assembly polls for the first time. In the 2012 election, he contested on BJP ticket.

Dhanjibhai Makson has been given this ticket keeping in mind the Patidar votes and is also a well-known Gujarati industrialist. He is the Chairman of the Maxson Group. The Maxson Group manufactures candies and other confectioneries for top national and international companies. The nomination of Dhanjibhai Patel, a Kadva Patidar, has also upset the Jain community since the seat was held by Varshaben Doshi, a Jain.
