Gujarat elections: Congress candidate from Pardi constituency- Bharatbhai M. Patel

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s Kanubhai Mohanlal Desai is the current MLA representing Pardi Assembly Constituency.

The Congress party's candidate from the Pardi Assembly Constituency for the Gujarat Assembly elections 2017 is Bharatbhai M. Patel. Pardi is a town and a municipality in Valsad district.

In the last five assembly elections, the BJP has won four times, Congress won the seat in 2002.

In 2012 Gujarat Assembly elections, Kanubhai defeated defeated Congress party's Hemant Manubhai Desai by 37,311 votes. In 2007 elections, BJP's Ushaben Girishkumar Patel defeated Congress party's Patel Laxmanbhai Babubhai by 10,665 votes.
