Gujarat elections: Congress candidate from Palitana constituency- Pravinbhai J. Rathod

In the 2012 assembly elections, BJP's Mahendra Singh Sarvaina had won the seat against Congress's Pravin Rathore.

Pravinbhai J. Rathod has been named the Congress candidate from Palitana assembly constituency. He is the son of Jeanbhai Arjunbhai Palitana. The 52-year-old candidate lives in Palitana of Bhavnagar district and is a farmer by profession. Praveen Bhai studied till 10th standard. According to myneta.info, during the nomination in 2012 assembly elections, he had declared his total assets as nearly seven and a half lakhs. Pravinbhai has a clean image and isn't facing any criminal cases.
