Gujarat elections: Congress candidate from Nandod constituency- Premsingbhai Devjibhai Vasava

The Nandod assembly constituency is a part of the Chhota Udaipur (Lok Sabha constituency).

Premsingbhai Devjibhai Vasava is the Congress candidate from Nandod constituency. Nandod is reserved for ST category candidates. Premsingbhai studied at Shri M R arts and science college in Rajasthan and is a former MLA from Rajpipla constituency which has been delimited. He was an MLA for three terms in 1980, 1985 and 1998.

He was defeated by BJP candidates in the 1995 and 2002 Assembly Elections. The Nandod seat came into existence in 2008, after the delimitation exercise in which constituency boundaries were redrawn. The Nandod assembly constituency is a part of the Chhota Udaipur (Lok Sabha constituency).
