Gujarat elections: Congress candidate from Limbdi constituency- Somabhai G Patel

The Congress party's candidate from Limbdi Assembly Constituency for the Gujarat Assembly elections 2017 is Somabhai G Patel.

Born10 August 1940, Patel is a member of the Lok Sabha. He represents the Surendranagar constituency.

He won from this seat in 2012 with 72203 votes. Kiritsinh Rana of BJP, who had won from this seat in 2007, regained this seat in the by-election held next year, in 2013.

Limbdi is one of the 182 assembly constituencies of Gujarat. It is located in Surendranagar district.
The constituency will have 280 polling stations. In 2012 assembly polls, the number of electors for this seat was 239500.
