The Congress party's candidate from Limbdi Assembly Constituency for the Gujarat Assembly elections 2017 is Somabhai G Patel.
Born10 August 1940, Patel is a member of the Lok Sabha. He represents the Surendranagar constituency.
He won from this seat in 2012 with 72203 votes. Kiritsinh Rana of BJP, who had won from this seat in 2007, regained this seat in the by-election held next year, in 2013.
