Gujarat elections: Congress candidate from Khambhalia constituency- Vikram Madam
Vikram Madam former member of Loksabha from Jamnagar, from Indian National Congress Party has filed nomination papers from Khambhalia Constituency in the upcoming Gujarat assembly elections 2017.

Madam was defeated in 2014 by his niece Poonam Madam, who had contested from BJP.
Khambhalia is one of the 182 assembly constituencies of Gujarat. It is located in Devbhoomi Dwarka district.
The constituency will have 288 polling stations. In 2012 assembly polls, the number of electors for this seat was 242484.
Poonamben Maadam of BJP won from this seat in assembly elections held in 2012 with 79087 votes.
According to myneta.info, Vikram is a 8th pass. He has stated his profession as Farmer and Bauxite.
Vikram Madam's assets are worth of 7 crore and he has three criminal cases reported against him.
